MAN MATTERS Open Up Challenge

The purpose of this campaign was to encourage men to open up about their feeling. When the lads came in to film, we asked them to pick another participant response at random and share their thoughts on that response. By doing this it shows just how many people think the same or are able to empathise with someone’s personal situation.

Raising awareness around the risein domestic abuse during mayor sporting events.

The 12 Days of Elfie

The idea was that domestic abuse can be invisible to people outside but Elfie is in the home is documenting and highlighting this in different ways. The 12 Days of Elfie aims to focus on different ways in which domestic abuse can impact on a victim’s life and also the lives of the other people in the home. This concept of what the Elfie sees couple up with the tag line / slightly rhetorical question as to whether it’s really the season of goodwill to all men? This felt quite striking as a way to raise awareness of Male Victims of Domestic Abuse.

Love Hurts

Sometimes love hurts … it isn’t meant to and it doesn’t start out that way. But for some people Valentine’s Day, and lets be honest every other day of the year, isn’t quite lovely. I think to some degree we all understand what domestic abuse is. We have seen dramatic depictions on soaps like EastEnders, seen shocking things in the news. However, it isn’t always that obvious and we don’t recognise signs when we see them.
