In our commitment to providing person-centered care, we’d like to explain the unpredictable timeframe for our counselling waiting list. From the moment of referral, it can take up to 4-6 weeks for us to reach out to you and schedule your Initial Assessment.

Following the completion of your Initial Assessment, we strive to contact you within 12 weeks to arrange your first counselling session. We understand that waiting can be challenging, and we appreciate your patience as we work to accommodate your needs.

In our approach, we offer an initial 12 counselling sessions to ensure you receive the support you need. We will review your progress together after 6 sessions to see how things are going and discuss how you’re feeling about the process. If needed, we can negotiate additional sessions to ensure we finish the work effectively. Our goal is to tailor the experience to your unique needs and circumstances.

Where will I wait before my session?

As you walk in, you will be asked to sign in. You will then be welcomed into our waiting room, where a member of staff will offer you a drink.
